I just uploaded the new version of INAP (In-line Ajax Page) to this site for testing. If you find any bugs please let me know. Assuming there are no bugs I will be releasing the new version on the 18th.
As I had hoped the SEO changes and the redesign have gotten me put back on Google, and Technorati finally realizes I update. It may not seem like much, but I have been off both since June or so of last year (although prior to that I had a good ranking in Google). As an aside to the person who found my site on Google while searching for INAP help: If you need help with a plugin, post in the comments.
Finally I have upgraded the site to WordPress 2.1 — actually this is the third time I’ve upgraded it. Everyone of those three times everything worked perfectly; I’m impressed. This also marks the official release of the new design. I’ve gotten rid of a lot of the older plugins and options that were useless, so everything is a lot smoother running. Originally I intended to release the new design when I started releasing new posts, but it felt weird releasing plugins for 2.1 when I was still on 2.0.
Even though there won’t be any new large content posts, I will update the news. So far (in the last two days) I have started or finished a pile of posts, I have completely switched over to WP 2.1 (on localhost), restructured the site, and am working to minimize the size of the files used and to minimize the number of links on the front page. Hopefully the latter two will make google like me again.
I’ve been in the process of developing new features and projects for this website. Unfortunately, between this and constant server problems it is becoming harder to keep up with weekly updates of existing projects. So rather than let the site languish in mediocrity, I will be taking a one month hiatus (until mid-February) from updates to current projects. During this time I will be developing all of my new projects and will continue to work on older projects.
