Ultimate Tag Warrior Widget
Posted on Sunday the 25th of June, 2006 at 11:33 pm in WidgetYes, this is kinda outside the normal content on this site, but my site, my rules.
Anyway for those of you that have Wordpress websites, the widget plugin and the Ultimate Tag Warrior plugin this widget will allow you to display your tags in the side bar similar to the way they do on my site. The widget allows you to change the title, list style, list order and the number of tags displayed. Colors etc are still controlled in the UTW control menu.
Installation is simple. Download UTW Display Tags Widget and then just unzip the archive, upload the php file to your plugins > widgets directory and activate it in your plugins menu. A bright and shiny new widget.
Change Log:
6/30/2006 - Fixed a bg that kept IE from displaying the control menu correctly.

I can’t seem to get the eidget to show anything. When I try to configure I just get a list outside the drop down box instead of a drop downlist.
Is there anything I should do with UTW to make the config work?
Reply to andreMy apologies, I hadn’t been able to test this in Internet Explorer and there was a small bug that kept it from displaying properly. You can redownload the file now and it should work fine.
Reply to adminThat didi the trick.

Yes it does require the UTW plugin, this is just an add-on to it.

Reply to gangesHi, your widget is great!
Only one minor thing: It seems with my theme, the title is closer to the tags than with the rest of the sidebar content, like there’s an (ul) missing or something. I would add it myself, only I am totally lost looking at the php file. Wanna help me out?
Thanks a lot!

You will want to add extra stuff in there.
I have upgraded to Wordpress 2.3.2, the latest version. Would it be worth while for me to add UTW to my site? Thanks
