Anthology of Ideas

here is my wish for a comments plugin. and i’ve even seen it on at least one wordpress blog (in the past), but i understand it was custom code.

while displaying a blog post and comments, if someone else should comment i’d like to see a little notification at the bottom of the comments thread (something like “2 new comments”) pop up with a button that will allow me to load the new comments without having to reload the entire page.

a function like this can turn a comments thread into something that can be used almost like a chat. very nice.
