Why doesn’t comment form display on archive pages?

I added this this AWP lines of code to archive.php however the comment form does not display when I view posts by category or month. It works fine on the home page (I applied these changes to index.php as well).

< ?php do_action('awp_comments_link');?>
< ?php do_action('awp_comments'); ?>
< ?php do_action('awp_commentform'); ?>

What did I do wrong?

Tim, try refreshing and/or purging your cache and see if you are still seeing the same behavior as you were. When I look at your site, I see both the Show Comments and Add Comments working correctly for the index page as well as the October archive. Can’t tell what you are seeing that looks wrong. Thank you for your reply, Karen! The only way I could get the comment form to display was to use one of the hacks you described in another post.

Without that only the comments would appear. There was no comment form.

This hack will suffice but I was hoping to display the comment form unconditionally.
