Right now development for awp is on-hold; however, I am available to hire if you need custom features added to AWP.

This means that getting support is hit or miss. I only read some of the threads because I don’t have to to read and respond to them all. If you want YOUR thread read, give all threads a descriptive title and make sure it explains the problem.

Aaron, I’m considering using AWP to add a FAQ type page to my site, but with new versions of WP around the corner, the “on hold” in this post gave me a little pause. You’ve been great about providing support and updates to date, and I’m hoping that “on hold” means that as far as updates, AWP will be nudged to at least work as is with the latest WP version, but it isn’t going to happen as quickly as it happened in the past. If “on hold” means just that in a strict literal sense and new WP versions (just like 2.6) could make AWP not work, that could make it hard to keep using AWP, especially on a new install. I really don’t want to not use AWP, but recently I spent a lot of time integrating another plugin that became important to me and then the plugin’s life just about stopped. I guess I’m a little gun-shy. I’m not looking for promises, just a little clarification. Thanks.

On hold means that small features are being added and small bugs are being fixed sporadically, but for the most part, no new features will be added and support is provided only at my pleasure.

If there are little changes that need to be made to make AWP work with the upcoming 2.7, they will be made, but for the most part, WordPress upgrades don’t break AWP.

AWP is very stable, so even though AWP went “on hold” technically back in June, there have only been a couple tiny bugs since then.
