Gravatars in AWP comments?

Hi there–

Complete newbie here, so I apologize in advance if this is a really stupid question….

I have Gravatars enabled for comments on our blog, but AWP seems to be having trouble including them. On three recent pageloads, I’ve seen these three behaviors, all on the same comment on the same post:

1. The commenter’s gravatar appears beside his comment, as expected.*
2. A blank img box the size of a gravatar appears with a blue “?” inside, as though the browser can’t locate the gravatar image.
3. The comment appears as text only, with nothing gravatar-suggestive anywhere to be found.

Is there something I can check/tweak to make the inclusion of gravatars a little more predictable? (Especially if it can be predictably option #1 above?) ;-)

*I’d also like to be able to adjust WHERE the gravatar appears (i.e., left/right/baseline/etc), but I’ll settle for “anywhere visible” for now…. ;-)

Thanks!

David

All AWP does is call the WP function. If you are using the standard templates distributed with AWP you will find the relevant code in /modules/inlinecomments/templates/comment.php.

Any errors are not being caused by AWP.
