I uploaded the ENTIRE folder into the w-content/plugins folder. Went to the plugins admin folder in wordpress and it isn’t there to activate. Tried logging off and back in refreshing etc - no avail. My theme is not widget ready - is this associated?

Are you able to browse to http://yoursite.com/wp-content/plugins/ajaxd-wordpress/ ?
You should see quite a few folders and files, but occasionally the server will block access.

I’m having the same problem. I get a 404 message when I link through to where the plugin should be, not folders. So random. My theme IS widget ready. Any thoughts?
And yes, I’ve uploaded the entire folder. It sits in the same folder as all my other working plugins.
Though I should confess, I’m kindof a newb. And when I say “kindof” I mean “totally”.
Thanks for any help.

I know what I was doing (hurrah!), not sure about Ann. I’ll post it in case other people are doing the same thing. I was uploading the ENTIRE folder that was unzipped, but you actually have to move in one folder and upload that one (there are 2 named “ajaxd-wordpress”). That’s the one with all the goods in it.
Hope that helps.
